This is my writing work for the week. I found this writing ok but there were many pieces of writing that I would of enjoyed more.
How To Make A Rainbow Pancake Cake.
First add 3 eggs, 4 cups of milk, 60 mills of oil and 1 tablespoon of vanilla
essence to a bowl and mix.
Siv 3 cups of cake flour into a different bowl and add a teaspoon of
baking powder then mix it in a mixer.
Add the other bowl while it’s still mixing.
Split the mixture into 4 different bowls and add different food coloring into
each bowl. Stir until colored.
Pour oil into a frying pan and pour batter into the pan, take care that you
do not combine two colors. Cook as you would cook pancakes.
Put 200 grams of cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of yougurt and 3 cups of
icing sugar into the mixer.
Stack the pancakes spreading cream cheese mix between pancakes.
Put raspberries on top and sprinkle with icing sugar. Now cut it like you
would with a cake.
Enjoy!`

When I Take My Pet Out
This is my writing work for the week. Unlike my main work I did not like this.
When I Take My Pet Out.
I decided one day to take my personal pet and go somewhere new. It started off great. We were having fun. My pet was getting out to a new space and he was getting new seeds from the tree. A couple of times he flew away to drop the seeds off but I wasn’t worried. I knew that he would come back soon. Next we went to a stream, I splashed in the stream while my pet ( which is a bird by the way) kept on flying around. Next we went to a National Park. My bird really seemed to like this place so I made a note to myself to come back here soon. I did a two hour walk and it was really fun. It took a while but me and my bird persevered. Finally we finished the trip and we got back to the parking lot. Then we drove home. On the way we went to a petrol station to fill the car up. Then Finally at the end of the adventure, we went home.

T4W2 Writing. Lockdown Writing.
This is my writing work for the week. It is all in my imagination.
When I Went into space.
I was just sitting there, on the beach, relaxing. And then suddenly my imagination went away with me and I suddenly found myself in space. I panicked, I flailed, but there was nothing to hold onto, to pull me back. Then I suddenly thought. Wait, I can’t be in space, it must just be my imagination. So then I thought, if this is my imagination then I am fine, I am not in space. So I realized, I can breathe! It still took a lot of determination, imagine how hard it would be to stop holding your breath when your body is telling you that you will die if you do! Finally I stopped. Whew, I was fine! Then I realized that I could send myself back. I imagined myself back. But it didn't work! Now I was scared. If I couldn't get back then I would be stuck here forever. Although I realized I probably would be able to get out of this, I must try to use my imagination while I am stuck here. I realized that as this was my imagination I could create the best waterpark ever, and have fun playing in it! I imagined it and suddenly I was at the top of a giant waterslide. I hopped into the waterside and whoosh I was away. Down, Down, Down I speed. It was exhilarating, it was scary, it was exciting. Flying down the slide it all passed in no time at all. Next I went into the wave pool. The wave pool was almost better than the waterside. I wished I had a board and suddenly I did. I started riding the waves. Suddenly one of the waves tipped me up. I looked up and saw the sky, not space! I was so surprised that I fell off my board. My imagination, well I can’t realy describe it. The waterpark kind of collapsed! Suddenly I found myself back in the real world. It was a scary experience but not one that i’m going to soon forget.

T4W2 Writing Persuasive Letter to the Auckland Council.
This is my second piece of writing for the week.
Persuasive Message to the Auckland Council.

Auckland Council,
Auckland,
NZ.
Dear Auckland council. I am writing to you to try and persuade you to let me build a Fort/Pa next to the inlet. This will be good for the following reasons that I am about to list.
Number one. The first reason is that people will be getting outside. It is a way to convince people that we need to be getting outside and this will help them.
The second reason is that It is a pa. This is a maori structure which makes it cultural. The reason we have museums is because we want people to know about the past. What better way to do this than by making something that is fun and also educational.
My third and final reason is that we need more playgrounds. We don’t have enough playgrounds in the outside space. What’s more, the ones we do have are alot like each other. What I propose is not only another one but it is also a new one.
These are my reasons for why we should make a playground like that.
Did you like my writing? I didn't really like making this but it's nice to be done.
T4W2 Writing How to make a minecraft Pa/Fort
How To Make a Minecraft Pa/Fort
Lay down six oak wood blocks.
Place one block next to it then put one block on top of that.
Continue building along the row.
Repeat the steps 2-3 until your pa is 5 blocks high.
Crop all the other blocks that are not on the diagonal.
Place on block next to the ones on top.
Continue this until there are 3 layers of blocks on top.
Now start building down.
Continue until you are back at the ground.
Place a fence post.
Continue placing fence posts until there is a wall of fence posts.
Now hollow out the 2 blocks in the middle for a door also you can hollow out other blocks for windows.
Do the same at the back except without the door.
If you want you can place torches inside or outside.
Now you're done. Enjoy your Pa/Fort.

T4W1 Writing Lockdown Work
This is my work for the week. This week I had to do two pieces of writing this week. They will go in the order that I made them.
Why My Changes to the Pahurehure Inlet is Important
My changes to the pahurehure inlet are important because we have a lot of plastic in the inlet. I think these changes will help with that problem.
First off the filter system. The filter system will remove any plastic coming in through the filter and it will filter it out into a chute that will then take the plastic to be recycled.
Next We should put a lot and I mean a lot of rubbish bins around the inlet. This I hope will lessen the amount of rubbish entering the inlet from people’s output.
Thirdly we should get a big tidy up of the rubbish in the inlet after we have done all this. This will make it clean and then I hope a lot of people will take care to recycle rubbish and leave it out of the inlet.
This is why my project will help the inlet.

Auckland Council,
Auckland,

Dear Auckland Council,
Do you know about the Pahurehure Inlet problem? The inlet is part of our culture and we are letting it get polluted. I am writing to you to ask you, and try to convince you to help, with how polluted our inlet is getting!
Every day more and more rubbish piles into the inlet from various places. You can help by stepping up and making a plan. All you need to do is make a filter system at all the entrances to the inlet and maybe make a fine for littering.
You could also be a great help if you just increase the amount of rubbish bins around the inlet so that people will have an easier place to put their rubbish. The auckland council was made to take care of the people and the environment. This is only one of the many problems that you have been inactive with.
You started a project about 10 years ago. My ancestors were part of that project, and they were, are still proud of it. You should finish what you started all those years ago.
Help the environment, help the people.
With sincerest regards,
Robert.

T3W10 Writing
This is my writing for the week. Once I decided what I wanted to do for my writing I had a really good time researching and writing this. I hope you enjoy.
How Does Your Brain Control Your Body?
Your brain. It’s known as the most complex organ that we know of, in the universe. Today I am going to talk about how your brain controls your body.
Your brain has billions of nerve cells, they are called neurons. These are the things that make up your brain. They “talk” to each other by sending electrical and chemical signals. Every time you experience something new or recognize something you already know millions of those tiny neurons are talking.
Your brain is the headquarters of your body, it sends messages to the rest of your body, telling it what to do. They send it through a network of nerves known as the nervous system. This enables you to run and walk and everything else!
Your brain is also in charge of how you experience the world around you. Imagine you are in the sea. The light from the water goes into your eyes, the noises of splashing water goes into your ears, and the coolness of water goes through your skin. Your brain receives all this information and uses it to determine what is here.
Well that’s the brain. There are so many more functions that the brain is responsible for so if you're interested go look at those. The brain is still very much a mystery to scientists and they are still looking for new information about it. Maybe you’ll grow up to be a brain scientist. Goodbye.
Did you like my writing? Do you want to explore more about the brain?

T3W8 Writing. What if Everyone Became Vegetarian.
This week we were asked to make a piece of writing about what if everyone became vegetarian.
What if Everyone Became Vegetarian
We all walked up to our parents and told them that we had decided to become vegetarian. They asked us if we really wanted to and we had considered the full effects of that decision. We told them we had and they said that that was fine. The next day we we listened to the radio they said that reportedly everyone in the world was vegetarian. We were shocked and the news reporter said that this was bad news for farms and the food availability for everyone because this much vegetarians would cause the remaining vegetarian food to go down very fast. They said that this was a global problem and that the only way to fix it was to make everyone vegetarian have to eat at least a little bit of meat everyday so that there would still be enough vegetarian food for everyone. The whole world kept it up until there was enough food that people could go back to being totally vegetarian.

T3W7 Lockdown Work Heroes VS Villans
This week we did heroes vs villains. It was super cool to learn about heroes and villains.
Week 7 Term 3 Lockdown Writting
This is my writing work for the week. I don't read much marvel or DC so I invented my own characters. They are not based of anything because I haven't read any.
I flew above the people. Hardly anyone ever looks up and I knew that. I hovered there for a while and then flew over to the top of the sky tower. It was quite windy up this high but I was used to it so it didn't bother me. Landing on the top of the sky tower I finally looked around and delighted in the view. It was simply amazing. If you have never been at the top of a big tower I can tell you from personal experience that it is amazing. Looking down at everything really reminds you how small you are compared to the world. But it also reminds you that everything you do has an impact on the planet. Then, a voice came from behind me.
Hello John. Vindicus, why are you here. Well to destroy you of course. You know you can never beat me Vindicus. Then why am I not in prison? Because you always run from a fight the moment you start to think you will lose. Of course, live to fight another day, correct? Well you know. This stops today. I turn around and punch him in the face. Blood spurts from his mouth. Well he was distracted I lifted him up and flew to the nearest police station. When we came in the cops sure got a surprise. What are you doing carrying Vindicus? He asked. I responded with the fact that he had committed multiple crimes so I thought you might want him to pay you a visit. Lock him up, the police said. I said goodbye and left to go back to the top of the sky tower to finally be able to enjoy the view.
Did you like my writing? I pretty much made a name that sounded cool and wrote that done.

Lockdown work T3W4ish
I put ish on there because I have lost track during lockdown. This is my best guess. Hope you enjoy my work.
Lockdown Writing T3W4ish
This is my writing work for the week. I did this during lockdown.
Should we open our Borders?
Should we open our borders? That is the question that I am going to take a look at today. I think however that we should keep our borders closed.
My first reason is that no one wants covid in the community. It is much better to keep our borders closed than keep them open and be forced to go into another lockdown.
My second reason is that with the border closed we may not be able to go to other countries but we can explore our own backyard. Lots of people probably have been going to other countries instead of staying in our own country. Our own country has so much to offer and so little people actually explore our own Aoteroa.
My third reason is that even if we had our border open, who would we travel to? Pretty much all countries have covid by now including all the major countries. Most people just think that the border being open will be great but when it opens there will be practically no one to go to.
These are my reasons that I think that we should keep our borders closed and explore our own country.

Is Kapa Haka good for you Lockdown Writing.
This is my writing work for the week. It is about if Kapa Haka is good for you.
Is Kapa Haka good for you?
This week we were asked the question. Is Kapa Haka good or bad for you? We were asked to share our point of view and then explain it. I think that Kapa Haka is good for you.
The first reason I have is that Kapa Haka enables you to let out your anger. Letting out your anger means that you can be angry in a safe way. This enables you to feel good when you let your anger out and also to not be a danger to anyone with your anger.
The second reason is that it helps you physically. It can help you become stronger and fitter and when you need to make a speech Kapa Haka will help you with how loud your voice is.
The third reason is that it helps you express yourself through your actions. The feeling when you are exactly in time with the rest of your group is simply amazing and very important for your teamwork skills.
My final reason is that your timing can become much better. Timing is very important in dances and group activities because staying in time is one of the things that people watching will really see.
This and more are all reasons for why I think that Kapa Haka is good for you. Once again I just want to say that by far the best part of Kapa Haka is the group feeling.

T3W3 Persuasive Writing.
This is my writing work for the week. It is a persuasive piece of writing. It is called Sport vs Music.
Sport VS Music
I think that sport is better for you than music because it increases your fitness and can make you new friends.
Firstly sport increases your physical body making it fitter and stronger. It can also help with your health and increase your resistance.
Secondly, sport enables you to challenge yourself. You can try many different things through sport that you cannot do through music. As well as that it increases your teamwork.
Finally it could make you world famous. People could become very famous if say in rugby they scored the winning try of the Olympic gold medal match. They will have got a gold medal and have become world famous. That is simply something you just cannot achieve through music.
So I think this supports my earlier theories. Again, I still state that sport is better than music.

23 ray small drive,

5th August 2021
Principal,
Papakura Central School,
Auckland,
NZ.
Dear Mr Tetzlaff.
I am writing to you to ask you if you can move the part of the bike track next to the hill. This will then allow us to use the slip’n’slide down the hill.
Firstly as I have already stated, moving the bike track will enable us to use the slip’n’slide down the hill. I strongly believe that this will make EOTC more enjoyable.
Secondly if you move it, it might open up opportunities for different paths or turns to make the track funner. The track is mainly turns and straights; it does not split into two tracks often. If you add more intersections it will make the bike track more popular.
Finally people rolling/running down the hill can do it much more safely if you just move the bike track. People rolling/running down the hill will have to stop much sooner thus ruining the experience. Again I repeat, IT IS SAFER! If you value safety you will move the bike track!
So that is my perspective. I think you now realise that it would be prudent to move the bike track. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Robert.

World's Worst Children Writing T2W10
This is my writing work for the week. It is about the world's worst children.
Please, please, please and a million pleases DO NOT READ THIS BOOK! I repeat DO NOT READ THIS BOOK! This book is cursed! It is worse than the most horrible, most disgusting thing you or anyone else could ever imagine! Leave leave now! Well if you insist... But you have been warned.
Our story starts with Boring Brian. You may wonder why he is called that? He was the most boring, most plain to ever live. He was more boring than a long essay. If you were just in 5 feet of him you would fall asleep of boredom. So now is think you know why he is called Boring Brian.
Our story starts with Boring Brian at his house. At home he would do some little problematic things like make people fall asleep when they were making meals for lots of people. Once he bored a person to sleep before there hundred meter dash.
Then came Brian's most devious act. He and his class were on a field trip to the museum. Boring Brian decided that he would knock out the driver well he was driving! He went into the bus last as to be the closest to the driver. Then when they were on the motorway he bored the driver to sleep. Luckily the driver was near a teacher and the teacher stared the bus into and emergency off ramp. Then they put a gag on Boring Brian and they lived happily ever after.

T2W8 Writing.
This is my writing work for the week.
The woolly mammoth lived 8000,000 to 10,000 years ago. The woolly mammoths scientific name is Mammuthus primigenius. The woolly mammoths live in a cold place with snow.
The woolly mammoth eats grass and its diet is supplemented with flowers and leaves. Its predators are saber toothed tigers and humans.
The woolly mammoth lives in what is known as the mammoth steppe. The mammoth steppe stretches from canada across russia down to spain. It was a snowy tundra and woolly mammoths used their tusks to move the snow.
The woolly mammoth died out when the temperature became to hot for them. They also died because humans killed to many of them.
So that is the woolly mammoth. This is just a bit of information about them but there is a lot more. Woolly mammoths are one of the coolest animals ever and everyone should know about them.

T2W7 Writing.
This is my writing for the week. This is about pygmy seahorses.
There are seven different types of pygmy seahorse in the world. The pygmy seahorse is two centimeters in size and is one of the smallest in the world. They live in the Indo-West Pacific ocean. Their scientific name is Hippocampus Bargibanti.
The pygmy seahorse is amazing at camouflage. The pygmy seahorse finds a sea fan coral and blends in with it. They even develop tubercles (bumps) to help them blend in even better! The coral reef they blend in with is either orange or purple.
Pygmy seahorses have very different births to that of humans. The pygmy seahorse starts when its mum and dad do a courtship dance. Then that baby gets born from the fathers brood pouch. Then they go off and find some coral reef to camouflage to. When they find a coral reef they will change color to match that of the coral.
The pygmy seahorse eats small crustaceans. Its predators hunt them and that is why they need to hide.
Another big problem for the pygmy seahorses is climate change. Climate change is warming the sea up. People are killing sea life with plastic that they let into the environment and doing irresponsible fishing. This and more is the main reason pygmy seahorses are dying.
So that is the pygmy seahorse. This is just a bit of information. If you want more information search up pygmy seahorses.

This is my writing for the week. It is about a moment in time. This has not actually happened but I am describing what I saw in a picture and how it would feel in those short seconds.
A million thoughts were rushing through my head. There were a jumble of thoughts. I couldn't make them out and they were confusing me.
I knew that in any moment the beeper would go off and I would have to run as fast as I possibly could.
I looked into the crowd a few faces I recognized the rest, a mystery. Rich people, poor people lucky enough to have managed to make it here.
The air was warm but crisp. With a flash the beeper went of. I reacted as quickly as I could and ran off into the unknown.

Writing Part 2 T2W5
This is my second piece of writing for the week. Miss Hudson said because I was done so early I had to do a second piece.
Ingredients
1 ⅓ cups white sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 very ripe bananas, mashed
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cups water
6 cups vegetable oil for frying
3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
Steps:
Combine the flour, sugar and baking powder until well combined. And stir in the bananas, vanilla extract and water to make a dough.
Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 175 degrees. The oil should be deep enough to completely cover the panikekes while frying, or at last 3 inches deep.
Scoop up a 1/4 cup of batter with a spoon, and then use another spoon to push it off into the oil. Fry in small groups of 4-5 until they float to the top and turn golden brown, about 3 minutes, then flip them to fry the other side. Remove from the fryer and let drain on paper towels.
Now you're done. Enjoy!

T2W5 Samoan Language Week
This is my weeks writing. It is about Samoa.
In Samoa the have very different food to some other countries. Most of their food has coconut milk/cream in it. Samoan dishes also often include. Pork, chicken and fish.
Traditionally things in Samoa were very joint. The community often did things together. Samoan people traditionally lived in houses called fales. Fales had no walls and were open.
Around Samoa there is a lot of forest and water. Samoa is a very tropical place and that is one of the main reasons that people come there.
Housing now is typically what you would find somewhere like NZ. Not to cramped but not to empty either. There are a lot of homes instead of apartments unlike NY for example.
Did you like my writing? Did you learn something new about Samoa?

T2W2 Writing.
This is my writing work for the week. It is about my hobby.
My hobby is swimming. I like swimming in warm water. One of my favorite things about swimming is jumping in.
Usually most diving pools are cold and that is why I like Massy park pools.
At Massy park pools their diving pool is the same as there main pool so it is not cold like other diving pools. Another thing amazing about Massy park pools is that it has an awesome hydro slide. The hydro slide is long and it is really cool. Another great thing about Massy is that it has a wave machine. The wave machine is cool because if you just float the waves will rock you back and forward.
I think that I am a competent swimmer.
I like swimming in deep pools. The deepest pool I have swum in is 3m deep.
I also like boggy boarding. The biggest wave I have boggy boarded is 2.2-2.4m tall. Usually I ride waves that are one meter tall.

T1W8-9 Writing Cloud Eye.
Cloud Eye is a very tall thing. Cloud Eye is a mutated bird. It is about 3 meters tall and it has no legs!
It's body is yellow and it has red feathers that are stubbed at the end to detect wind speed and humidity and the heat. Cloud Eye hovers above the ground and it is the fastest bird. At its top speed it is 1,000 Mph. When it wants to go to sleep it hovers in the air. Cloud Eye does not go onto land except when there is a violent storm or heavy rain. Sometimes it will go onto land for other reasons but those timed a very rare. It lives in the air and it will sometimes go to the water. Cloud Eye will eat fish and small sea animals. His brain is in its torso. When he comes down to eat he looks for the sea creatures and fish then he dives in with its head still above the water. When it is ready it opens its mouth which is also in its torso and eats until it is full. It has some predators but they need to be very fast and quiet. Cloud Eye takes 5 mins to get to top speed and sometimes slower birds can catch it.

T1W7 Writing Moving House
This is a recap of when I moved house. I found moving house really sad and I sometimes wish that I was still there with my cousins.
I was tearful when I heard the news. We were moving to Auckland.
Mum told me that we had cousins there and grandparents but I was still sad.
Still I enjoyed moving. Packing was a good way to take it off my mind.
My three year old self didn't understand all the problems but it still saw that Hannah and Quentin my cousins were sad so it was sad too.
In the time leading up to the move we had as much fun as we could. We played a lot of games together and there was a lot more videos being taken.
Soon there started to be some boxes to pack. Because we were two families and we were going to two different places we had to decide who got what stuff. For the most part though it was easy. Some things though we had bought well we were there and those had to be divided.
When the day of the move came I was really sad. Currently all the Starks were alive and Mum Dad me and Harry we alive.
Once we left it was a long drive to our new home. It took the whole day and once we arrived we were all very tired,
Finally we got settled in and we came to really our new house.
Did you like my story? Have you ever moved house?

T1W6 Writing
This is my writing for the week. This is about what might happen if me and my friends found a new planet that had smart life forms.
Me and my friends had just made a huge breakthrough. We had found a new planet that could definitely hold life. The planet didn't have any ships that surrounded it but we still thought that it may contain life.
The first thing we hand to do was to check some vital information (eg. how close to the sun it is). Doing That however was trickier than it sounded. We had to stay in space for about a week before we had all the reading checked out.
Now we had to look at the information and decide what we should do. It took a long time to decide this but as soon as we did something terrible happened.
There was this object hurtling towards us. It was probably faster than us. We dodged but it skimmed us and we were forced to go to the planet to fix our ship.
When we came into land we saw a lot of people outside seemingly waiting for us to land.
When we landed and excited our spaceship we went up tot the people."what are you doing here" said a particularly tall one." we have come to meet you" I said."we wish you no harm". They seemed relived at that and one of them beckoned for us to follow them.
We obliged. It was a talk less journey. Finally we arrived in a large courtroom.
"Hello there". The person I assumed to be the king boomed. "We saw you long ago and we wanted to see if you meant any harm"."We mean no harm" I said. Repeating the same phrase I said back at the ship."We are flying to see if there are planets that may contain life forms". "We have stopped doing that. After the finding of one hostile planet we have decided to content ourself with here". The king said. "Okay". I said. " If they fight you send your messenger to us. Where in the Solar System the closest one to you"." And vice versa". I said. "Agreed. We will fix you ship. Than goodbye".
After we left the planet we traveled home. Then we told them what we had done and they agreed.
Did you like my story? Are you interested in space?

My Ancient Egypt Time Travel Writing.
This is my work for the week. It is a imaginary story about me going back to the time and place of ancient Egypt.
The machine thudded onto the ground. Tentatively I opened the machine and looked around. I realised that I must be in a market place. I looked around again relising that I must be in ancient Egypt. And the heat . I thought it was hot when it was 25 degrees but this was 40 degrees. I noticed that some people were trickling off to the side. Soon that trickle turned into a flow. Thinking that they may be going to some meeting place I followed them to see where they were going. When they stopped moving I finally looked around. We seemed to be in a large room. The door, well i'm calling it a door was huge. When it was closed it would almost be impossible to open without at least ten people. Than the Pharaoh or at least the leader of this Nome talked to the people. I couldn't understand it but the people seemed energized. Then with a final word speaker stepped down and the people left. As I walked back to my craft I wondered where I would go next. Then I hopped into my craft and I smiled.\
Did you like my writing? I think I did okay this time. If you have any questions please respond.
